Members of the departments network with other university departments in many individual projects, cooperate closely with the research centers of the university and are active in the following research associations.

Every Wednesday afternoon in the semester, the colloquium "Policy, Markets and Trade in the Bioeconomy" takes place, which amalgamates the fields of Agricultural and Food Policy (420a), Agricultural Markets (420b), Consumer Behaviour in the Bioeconomy (420c) and International Food and Agricultural Trade(490b).
